A. Background of study
In this part, writer tells about background or reason of the title. Writer tries to give an explanation about picture of hyper reality and critiques through on reality the first countries which try to present pure simulacrum although its just imitation. 

B. Identification of problem
Related to naration before, there are many problems that can be raised in relation to analysis of Umberto Eco’s Travels in Hyper Reality. The writer finds that the book Travesl in Hyper Reality contains postmodernism issues. Based on the background study, there are some poblems that identified as follow:
1. How binary opposition made hegemony in the Travesl in Hyper Reality.
2. Diction used by Umberto Eco in the Travesl in Hyper Reality.
3. Code mixing used in in the Travesl in Hyper Reality.
4. Proverbs used in the the Travesl in Hyper Reality.
5. How logo-centrist superiority in the Travesl in Hyper Reality.
6. How the writer influenced reader.
7. How the structure analysis was imfact in the Travesl in Hyper Reality.

C. Limitation of the problem
 To make this research more directed and oriented, the writer needs to make a scope of the research so that the description about the subject that will be discussed will not be too wide. Without making scope on the subject, the discussion will not run well and the result will not be good.
 Related to the background for choosing the subject above, the writer will focus this research on the style in rhetorical form used in the text. The researcher uses the constuction thoery to analyze, expecially Derrida’s theory. The step analyzing the book is begun by finding the binary opposition that hegemony in the book and finding the traces. Those problems will be analyzed on the postmodernism theory.

D. Formulation of problem
 Based on the assumption from limitation of the problem, the reseacher formulates problems as follow:
1. What styles in texs form are used by Umberto Eco in the Travels in Hyper Reality?
2. What dominant style in texs form is used in the Travels in Hyper Reality? 
3. What is the description of posmodernism in the Travels in Hyper Reality?
4. how to deconstruct the binary opposition in the Travels in Hyper Reality?

E. Objectives of the study
  The objective of the study in this research is to answer the formulation of the problems:
1. To find styles in texs form used by Umberto Eco in the Travels in Hyper Reality.
2. To know the dominant style used Umberto Eco in the Travels in Hyper Reality. 
3. To describe the posmodernism themes Umberto Eco in the Travels in Hyper Reality.
4. To deconstruct the binary opposition in Umberto Eco in the Travels in Hyper Reality.

F. Significance of the study
The significan of the research can be describe as follows:
1. To provide the information for reader who want to analyze a literary work especially posmodernism book.
2. To give contribution to the readers in critics on postmodernism theory.
3. To implement the postmodernism in analyzing the book.
